Rehab Fayez

Rehab Fayez is currently the Regional Head of People Experience and Technology at Amazon in Middle East and NorthAfrica Region.

Rehab’s journey evidences a solid track of excellence and subject matter expertise in strategic human resource planning, Organizational Design, talent management and development, succession planning, HR business partnering, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and employee experience and culture.

She has 19 years of diverse experience in HR and people experience across different industries including consultancy, telecommunications, and e-commerce. Prior to her role in Amazon, she has worked as an HR consultant in different consultancy firms including Informa for 7 years. Following her consultancy experience, she joined the telecom industry and spent 7 years in Vodafone Egypt where she assumed different roles in HR including Talent Management, learning and development, and HR business partnering for Technology and Commercial Operations. Throughout her time in Vodafone, Rehab contributed to fundamental HR interventions through a number of significant changes in Vodafone including 4G launch, digital transformation, designing the Agile organizational structure, and scaling the Agile methodology across the organization.

In her current role in Amazon, Rehab leads People Experience and Technology for Amazon Customer Service in the MENA, and has accelerated her growth in Amazon through the transformation journey post Souq acquisition and migration to Amazon across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. She has also contributed to the launch of international languages customer service in MENA to support global market places including Germany, Australia, and UK. Rehab also currently leads the DEI charter for the MENA region. Among her proudest moments during her journey in Amazon, Rehab has won the Worldwide People Experience and Technology “High Judgement” Award in Amazon, has graduated from “LEAD”, a program designed for high-potential leaders in Amazon, and designed and co-led a leadership development session focused on ‘The Power of Inclusion and Belonging’ for MENA leaders.

Rehab has also completed her MBA from University of Wales, Cardiff in 2012. She has also established her knowledge in Agile methodologies as she got accredited as a Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in UK, received her Agile training from Accenture in California, and got certified as an Agile Facilitator and Agile Coach from International Consortium for Agile in 2018.
