Nagla Kinawi

Nagla Kinawi is the Human Resources Director at Vodafone Egypt, with over 20 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, and people transformation across multinational and regional organizations. She leads Vodafone Egypt’s people strategy, supporting business transformation, organizational effectiveness, and inclusive workplace practices.

Since joining Vodafone Egypt, Nagla has overseen key areas including Talent Management, Learning and Development, Rewards, Change Management, Leadership Development, and Internal Communications, ensuring alignment between people priorities and business strategy.

Prior to Vodafone Egypt, Nagla served as Vice President of Human Resources & Internal Communication at Schneider Electric for Egypt and Northeast Africa, where she led regional HR strategy. She previously held the role of General Manager of Human Resources at the National Bank of Egypt, where she led a large‑scale HR transformation program. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles in the pharmaceutical sector across HR and business operations.

Under Nagla’s leadership, Vodafone Egypt has received external recognition for its people and inclusion practices, including top-tier SHRM awards for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity and being ranked among Egypt’s leading workplaces for women.

Nagla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science, and an MBA from the American University in Cairo. Her academic background, coupled with her multi-sector career, has equipped her to lead with strategic foresight and adaptability.
